Here's the latest from Satan's Pilgrims.

RECORDING AND NEW RELEASE!!

Ted was in Portland the last week of May for some recording with long-time friend of the Pilgrims, Thomas Lauderdale.

If you are unfamiliar with Thomas, he is the pianist and leader of Portland's Pink Martini.

Thomas was an early fan of the Pilgrims and he actually started collaborating on an album with SP back in 1994/95 before Pink Martini really started in earnest. About 10 tracks were recorded until the studio we were using closed down and the engineer moved to LA.

But, this last New Year's break, after our show in Portland, our schedules allowed us to get together with Thomas to talk about resurrecting the album and rehearse some songs needed to complete it.

This past May, we were able to do 5 or 6 more tunes with Thomas. Now we have to mix, master and start working towards a release. Stay tuned for more news about "Thomas Lauderdale Meets Satan's Pilgrims"!
